Inspecting a Fall-Arrest Harness Before Every Use
A full-body harness only protects the person wearing it if it is fit for use. Here is the pre-use inspection routine we teach on every working-at-height programme.

The entry point of the Eduforce fall protection cascade. It builds the competence a worker needs to use fall protection equipment correctly, every time, before any work above ground level begins.
Fall protection only works when the wearer selects, fits and checks it correctly. A loose harness, an unsuitable anchor or damaged equipment can defeat the system without any single component failing.
As the first grade of Eduforce's five-grade fall protection cascade, this programme gives workers a common baseline: prevention before arrest, correct use of their own equipment, and the pre-use check before every clip-on. That check complements, but does not replace, periodic inspection by a competent person.
