Duration: 4 hours standalone; 2 hours when combined with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic modules

This module gives the ordinary person — someone who works near hazardous energies rather than isolating them — the awareness to recognise the risk and respond correctly. It is a prerequisite building block for the Control of Hazardous Energies training.
This module forms part of GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT).
